Help for many want-to-be-workers is coming February 6, 2010, with an encouraging seminar assisting first-time job seekers to acquire necessary workplace skills, and unemployed workers to sharpen their job seeking skills. The 6-hour seminar, held at the Artisan Building theater complex, 1901 Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento 95815, begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM with lunch provided.

Taught by local college professor Terry Sheppard, who provides professional career development and support to the person without workplace experience and the unemployed worker seeking employment. Sheppard, professor of business entrepreneurship at Los Rios Community College District, is a certified NextSkills trainer.
