Help for many want-to-be-workers is coming February 6, 2010, with an encouraging seminar assisting first-time job seekers to acquire necessary workplace skills, and unemployed workers to sharpen their job seeking skills. The 6-hour seminar, held at the Artisan Building theater complex, 1901 Del Paso Blvd., Sacramento 95815, begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM with lunch provided.

Sheppard, professor of business entrepreneurship at Los Rios Community College District, is a certified NextSkills trainer.
